Quickly calculate 10% above & below a property’s square footage

Appraisers usually begin by searching for properties within a 10% square footage range of the subject property.
So, this is what I also do when I begin my search for comparable properties.
I use this calculator to find that 10% range really quickly.

How to use this calculator

1. Enter the square footage of the subject property.
2. The calculator adds and subtracts 10% of the square footage.
3. On the MLS, search for comps within this range.
